These Terms and Conditions ("T&C") govern the use of the RealMindX Education Limited Bookshop, including all purchases made through its official website and delivery services.
For clarity, the term "Bookshop" refers specifically to the RealMindX website platform through which products are advertised, ordered, and delivered.
By accessing the website, browsing available products, or placing an order, customers agree to be bound by the policies outlined herein. These terms take effect upon placement of an order.
1. Purpose of the Bookshop
The RealMindX Education Limited Bookshop exists to make educational resources accessible — simply, reliably, and without unnecessary friction. It serves students, parents, teachers, and institutions who require materials but may not always have the means to visit a physical store.
Operating through the RealMindX website platform, the Bookshop enables users to browse, select, and order materials from virtually anywhere. Products are offered in broad categories, including:
- Textbooks
- Exercise Books
- Drawing Books
- Notebooks
- Writing Books
- Other Books (including dictionaries, atlases, Bibles, and reference materials)
- Stationery
Please note that availability is subject to stock levels and may fluctuate.
2. Ordering Procedure
Orders are placed through the website by selecting desired items and submitting the required details. Customers must provide:
- Full name
- Active phone number
- Accurate delivery address
- Preferred delivery location
- Preferred payment method
Upon receipt of an order, confirmation will be issued along with the total cost, inclusive of delivery charges.
RealMindX Education Limited reserves the right to decline or cancel orders under the following circumstances:
- Failure to confirm payment
- Submission of incorrect or misleading information
- Detection of suspicious or fraudulent activity
3. Payment Policy
Payment may be made through online payment or payment-on-delivery. Accepted methods include:
- Mobile Money (MTN, Telecel, AirtelTigo)
- Bank transfer
- Debit or credit card (where available)
- Cash (for applicable delivery scenarios)
Bulk Purchases (GHS 3,000 and above): A minimum advance payment of 20% is required before delivery is processed. Failure to make this advance payment within 48 hours of order confirmation may result in cancellation.
Payment-on-Delivery: Customers are expected to be available and ready to complete payment upon receipt. Refusal, delay, or inability to pay at delivery may result in immediate cancellation of the transaction, possible restriction from future payment-on-delivery services, and liability for delivery costs already incurred.
4. Delivery Policy
Delivery is available within Accra and across all regions of Ghana. Delivery fees are separate from product costs and depend on distance, order size or weight, and courier or transport service charges. Customers will be informed of applicable delivery fees prior to final confirmation.
Within Accra
Typically delivered within 24 hours after payment confirmation. Fees vary by location.
Outside Accra
Typically delivered within 48 hours, depending on logistics and destination. Deliveries outside
Accra are made via intercity courier services. All delivery costs for out-of-Accra orders are borne
by the customer and will be communicated prior to order confirmation. RealMindX Education Limited
works with established delivery partners to ensure reliable intercity logistics.
5. Customer Responsibility for Delivery
Customers must provide accurate and complete delivery details, including full address, contact number, and recipient's name. If delivery fails due to incorrect or incomplete information, the cost of re-delivery falls entirely on the customer.
6. Inspection of Items
Upon receiving an order, customers are expected to inspect items immediately for the following:
- Correct items
- Correct quantities
- Acceptable condition
Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of receipt.
7. Return and Exchange Policy
Returns or exchanges are permitted under the following conditions:
- Wrong item delivered
- Manufacturing or printing defect
- Damage occurring prior to delivery
Eligibility Requirements:
- Item must be unused
- Item must remain in original condition
- Request must be made within 48 hours of receipt
Non-Returnable Items:
- Used materials
- Customer-damaged items
- Special order items
Approved returns will result in a replacement, store credit, or a full refund, at the customer's election, in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 (Act 851) of Ghana. Refunds will be processed within 7 business days of the approved return being received. Customers may not be charged restocking or handling fees for returns that are the result of an error by RealMindX Education Limited.
8. Discount Policy
Bulk Purchase Discounts – Schools and Retailers: A bulk discount policy applies to schools and retailers ordering textbooks in bulk. Bulk discounts apply exclusively to Textbooks and are subject to negotiation with RealMindX Education Limited. To qualify, a minimum order of 10 or more copies of the same specific textbook title is required. Bulk discounts do not apply to exercise books, stationery, or any other non-textbook products.
Discount Rate: The final discount rate is subject to negotiation and will take into account the applicable publisher wholesale margin (approximately 50% of the recommended retail price). Agreed discount rates will be confirmed in writing prior to order processing.
Primary School Sales – Geographic Priority: RealMindX Education Limited places particular emphasis on serving primary schools located outside Accra. Schools in these areas are especially encouraged to engage with the bulk discount programme. Delivery to schools outside Accra will be arranged via intercity courier services, with all delivery costs borne by the customer.
Discounts apply to product costs only and are calculated before delivery charges. Delivery fees are excluded from all discount calculations. Institutional buyers wishing to negotiate bulk discount terms should contact RealMindX Education Limited directly via the contact details in Section 16.
9. Product Availability
All items are subject to stock availability. If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, the customer will be notified promptly. A suitable replacement may be offered, or a refund issued as necessary.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content — including images, descriptions, branding, and educational materials — remains the property of RealMindX Education Limited or its licensed partners. Unauthorized reproduction or use of such content is strictly prohibited.
11. Limitation of Liability
RealMindX Education Limited shall not be held responsible for delivery delays caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Courier disruptions
- Traffic conditions
- Adverse weather
- Public holidays
- National emergencies
Reasonable efforts will at all times be made to ensure timely delivery. This limitation applies to force majeure circumstances only and does not affect the statutory rights of consumers under the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 (Act 851) of Ghana. RealMindX Education Limited remains liable for loss or damage caused by its own negligence or that of its agents.
12. Privacy and Customer Information
Customer data is collected and used strictly for order processing, delivery coordination, and communication purposes, in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) of Ghana. Customers have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of their personal data. Customer information is not sold or shared with third parties beyond what is required for operational fulfilment or legal compliance. RealMindX Education Limited implements appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect customer data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
13. Amendments to Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. Where amendments materially affect the rights or obligations of customers, reasonable prior notice will be provided via the RealMindX Education Limited website or by direct communication. Customers are encouraged to review the Terms periodically. Continued use of the Bookshop following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Updates will not apply retrospectively to orders already confirmed prior to the date of amendment.
14. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall fall under the jurisdiction of Ghanaian courts.
15. Consumer Dispute Resolution
RealMindX Education Limited is committed to resolving customer complaints promptly, fairly, and in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2012 (Act 851) of Ghana. In the event of a dispute arising from a purchase, delivery, refund, or any other transaction through the Bookshop, the following process shall apply:
Step 1 – Internal Complaint: The customer must first submit a written complaint to the RealMindX Education Limited Customer Service Department via email at realmindxgh@gmail.com or by phone at +233 55 803 9190. Complaints must be submitted within 14 days of the event giving rise to the dispute. RealMindX Education Limited will acknowledge the complaint within 3 business days and endeavour to resolve the matter within 10 business days.
Step 2 – Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR): If the complaint is not resolved to the satisfaction of the customer within the timeframe stated above, either party may refer the matter to mediation or arbitration in accordance with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act, 2010 (Act 798) of Ghana. ADR provides a cost-effective and efficient alternative to formal litigation.
